Submit a release

Email it to submit@freepressreleases.co.uk. There is no form to fill in and no account to create.

What to send

What happens next

  1. A person reads it. Everything is checked before it goes live, so this is not instant.
  2. If it is fine, we publish it and email you the URL.
  3. If it is not, we tell you why and what would fix it.

What we will not publish

  • Anything naming a private individual as a wrongdoer, or touching live court proceedings.
  • Releases that are not from the organisation they are about, or sent without its authority.
  • Adult content, gambling promotions aimed at under-18s, and anything unlawful.
  • Pure link building: a release with no announcement in it.
  • Medical, financial or legal claims presented as fact without a named source.

These are not matters of taste. Each one is a real risk to this site, and we would rather say so here than decline your release without explanation.

The terms, briefly

By sending us a release you confirm you are authorised to issue it, that its contents are accurate, and that you hold the rights to any image attached. You give us a licence to publish it here. You keep the copyright and can publish it anywhere else you like.

We may correct spelling, punctuation and house style. We will not change what your announcement says. If we think it needs a material change, we ask you first.

Ask us to remove a release and we will, without argument. Email info@domainfarm.co.uk.

What we do with your details

The contact details you put in your release publish with it, because that is what a notes to editors block is for. We do not add them to a marketing list, we do not enrich them against other sources, and we do not compile or sell a contact database built from what is submitted here. We may email you once about the paid wire. If you would rather we did not, say so in your submission and we will not.
