Vilnius hosts the Foreign Investors Annual Summit 2026 on Oct 21, with Lithuania's VC investment up 60% to €212M and tech ecosystem valued at €15.5B.

On October 13, 2026, as competition for international business intensifies, Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is entering a new chapter of growth and moving beyond attracting global businesses to creating conditions for them to invest, expand, and stay. With the technology ecosystem reaching €15.5 billion in enterprise value and venture capital investment climbing 60% to €212 million in 2025, the business landscape within the capital is shifting rapidly. In the latest IMD Smart City Index 2026, it also ranked 32nd globally, remaining the only city in the Baltics to maintain its upward trajectory.

Now, the question is how to turn this momentum into the next stage of growth. That conversation will take center stage on October 21, when the Foreign Investors Annual Summit 2026 will bring together international investors, business leaders, experts, and public-sector decision-makers to discuss where Lithuania goes next.

Among the contributors are experts in economic development, investment attraction, promotion, FDI intelligence, among other fields, including Angelos Angelou, CEO and Chief Strategist at AngelouEconomics, as well as a Founding Member of the Site Sectors Guild, Chris Knight, Managing Director at FT Locations, Mindaugas Sinkevičius, Prime Minister of Lithuania, Taurimas Valys, Minister of Finance, Valdas Benkunskas, Mayor of Vilnius, Gregory Mann, NASA Europe representative, and many others. Their discussions will look at what new avenues Lithuania can explore to pursue new growth opportunities.

"Shaping Lithuania's investment future is a shared responsibility for businesses, investors and government. Now in its fifth year, the Foreign Investors Annual Summit marks an important milestone. Over the years, we have built a tradition that brings together business leaders, investors and policymakers around a common goal: strengthening Lithuania's position in the global investment landscape. The summit's continuity reflects a shared need to come together, listen to one another and find solutions that will help Lithuania set an example in Europe for a forward-looking investment environment. Our ambition is to turn the partnerships formed and conversations started at the summit into tangible action, strengthening Lithuania's position as a country where international businesses choose to set up operations and grow," says Živilė Sabaliauskaitė, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania.

Organized for the fifth time by the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, the largest foreign business chamber in the Baltics, the Summit has become a meeting point for Lithuania's international business community, attracting more than 700 participants each year. The event is also co-organized by Go Vilnius, the official tourism and business development agency of Vilnius, and co-hosted by TEGOS Lithuania, one of the largest law firms in the Baltics.

This year's theme, This Is Lithuania Forward, focuses on the opportunities and challenges shaping Lithuania's next chapter - from attracting global capital and strengthening competitiveness to developing new industries and deepening cooperation between business and government.

The Summit will also explore how international investment can create greater long-term value, how Lithuanian companies can connect with global markets, and how closer cooperation between business and government can help the country compete for investment, talent and innovation. Key Summit sessions will be co-hosted by industry's leading companies EY, EPAM, Nasdaq, and Alliance for Recruitment.

"Vilnius has reached a point where the conversation is no longer only about proving that Lithuania can attract international business. It is about creating the conditions for that business to grow, invest, and build its future here. The next chapter will require an even closer dialogue between international investors, Lithuanian companies and public-sector leaders. The Summit is an opportunity to have that conversation openly, understand where investors see the greatest opportunities and challenges, and identify what we can do together to keep Vilnius and Lithuania moving forward", Marius Stasiukaitis, Head of Business at Go Vilnius, says.

The Summit will give attendees an opportunity to engage directly with Lithuanian authorities and decision-makers, discussing investment priorities and the business environment. The program will also offer insights into the trends shaping key industries and the opportunities emerging in Lithuania. Go Vilnius will also invite VIP guests for a networking evening on October 20.
