5) Hincknowle Cider Apple Farm Camping - Dorset

Next is Hincknowle Cider Apple Farm Camping in Bridport, Dorset, which is rated 4.94 stars out of five and has a 99% recommendation rating across 92 reviews.

The rural site welcomes tents and campervans across 190 acres of working farmland, which includes a communal barn. Visitors can enjoy cider from award-winning cider makers and meet the animals on the farm.

Jess Cliffe, Manager at Alan Boswell Group, commented on the findings:

"The UK's highest-rated campervan and motorhome sites are spread across a wide range of landscapes, including the Brecon Beacons, Cumbria, Dorset and the Scottish Highlands. These sites offer visitors excellent opportunities to explore local beauty spots, stargaze and relax at a site with all the facilities they need.

"For campervan and motorhome owners, planning a successful trip also means checking you have the right holiday and vehicle insurance in place. Standard motor insurance may not always provide the same level of cover needed for a longer holiday. It's also a good idea to insure personal belongings and camping equipment in some cases.

"Before setting off, check your policy carefully to understand what is covered and what isn't, as you don't want to be caught off guard. The right insurance can provide peace of mind while you enjoy your trip."
