SynerWorlds Revives the Classic Colour-Lines Puzzle as Chroma Beads, Free in the Browser
The office-break favourite of the Lines 98 era returns on a 9×9 board, with a daily board shared by every player, leaderboards, replay video export and 26 languages.
SynerWorlds (https://synerworlds.com), the free browser-gaming hub from SynerWork Inc., today launched Chroma Beads (Vietnamese name: Xếp Bi), the colour-lines puzzle a generation of office workers knew as Lines 98, as the newest addition to its growing collection of browser board and puzzle games. Chroma Beads is playable instantly at https://xepbi.synerworlds.com, with no download, no install, and no account required to start playing.
The rules are the ones players remember: on a 9×9 board, move one ball per turn and line up five or more balls of the same colour to clear them and score. The catch is the one that made the original so hard to put down, after every move, three new balls drop onto the board, and a careless route quickly fills the grid. Optional symbols can be printed on the balls for players who prefer shapes to colours.
Chroma Beads adds the rituals of a modern daily game: a Daily board, one fresh board shared by every player each day, with its own leaderboard, plus overall leaderboards and one-tap replay video export, so a great game can be saved and shared as a short video. It launches with full support for all 26 languages offered across SynerWorlds, from day one.
One collection, 26 languages
Every SynerWorlds game shares a single account and one central language system: when a new language is added at the hub, it appears in every game at once, with no per-game updates. The collection is currently available in 26 languages, including Vietnamese, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Punjabi and Tagalog.
Home to games found almost nowhere else
Alongside international classics, Chess, Xiangqi (Chinese chess), Go, Reversi, Checkers, Gomoku, Sudoku, Nonogram, Cross Words and Word Search, SynerWorlds preserves Vietnamese folk games that are rarely playable online anywhere: Cờ Chiếu Tướng (Vietnamese General Check), Cờ Gánh, Cờ Nhào, Ô Ăn Quan (Mandarin Square Capturing), Cờ Cá Ngựa and Cờ Úp (Dark Xiangqi). Chroma Beads adds the collection's first colour-lines puzzle.
Built for families
Every game on SynerWorlds is completely free. There are no ads, no in-game purchases and no gambling mechanics. Players can open a private room and share the link in the collection's multiplayer games, follow friends' results on leaderboards, and install any game as an app (PWA) on phone, tablet or desktop.
"Chroma Beads is a lunch-break memory: one shared office computer, and a queue of colleagues waiting for their turn," the SynerWorlds team said. "We rebuilt it exactly as people remember it, same board, same three new balls ruining your plans, except now it lives on your phone, in your language, with a fresh board waiting every morning."
