SynerWorlds Adds Mak Khom, Thailand's Traditional Mancala, as Its Newest Browser Game

*The free web collection brings the classic seed-sowing game หมากขุม online with its traditional capture rules, a 12-level computer opponent, online rooms and 26 languages.*

SynerWorlds (https://synerworlds.com), the free browser-gaming hub from SynerWork Inc., today launched Mak Khom, the traditional Thai mancala played for generations across Thailand, as the newest game in its growing collection of board and puzzle games. Mak Khom is playable instantly at https://makkhom.synerworlds.com, with no download, no install, and no account required to start playing.

The digital version follows the traditional rules: two rows of seven pits with a store at each end, seven seeds in every pit, 98 seeds in play. Players sow seeds around the board in a fixed circuit, and a capture ("kin thaen") is made when the last seed lands in an empty pit on the player's own side, taking every seed in the opposite pit into their store. The player with the most seeds in their store when the round ends wins.

Mak Khom arrives with a 12-level computer opponent, private online rooms for playing friends and family anywhere in the world, match history and leaderboards, and full support for all 26 languages offered across SynerWorlds, from day one.

One collection, 26 languages

Every SynerWorlds game shares a single account and one central language system: when a new language is added at the hub, it appears in every game at once, with no per-game updates. The collection is currently available in 26 languages, including Thai, Vietnamese, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Punjabi and Tagalog.

Home to games found almost nowhere else

Mak Khom joins a collection that preserves traditional games rarely playable online anywhere, including the Vietnamese folk games Ô Ăn Quan (Mandarin Square Capturing), Cờ Gánh, Cờ Nhào, Cờ Cá Ngựa and Cờ Chiếu Tướng (Vietnamese General Check), alongside international classics such as Chess, Xiangqi (Chinese chess), Go, Reversi, Checkers, Gomoku, Sudoku and Nonogram.

Built for families

Every game on SynerWorlds is completely free. There are no ads, no in-game purchases and no gambling mechanics. Players can take on the computer across 12 difficulty levels, open a private room and share the link, follow friends' results on leaderboards, and install any game as an app (PWA) on phone, tablet or desktop.

"Mak Khom is the kind of game that lives in family memory, learned from a grandparent, played on a board drawn in the dirt," the SynerWorlds team said. "Bringing it online, with its real rules intact and a Thai interface from day one, means that memory is now one click away for anyone, anywhere."
