RETALLY introduces free tools to review LTL reweighs and freight billing records

POTTSVILLE, Pa., October 19, 2026, A carrier's revised weight or dimensions can change what a shipment costs. RETALLY has published a free browser-based LTL Reweigh Evidence Comparator that helps shippers and freight-audit teams see the arithmetic behind the change before deciding whether to challenge it.

Users enter original and revised handling-unit dimensions and gross weights. The tool compares cubic feet and pounds per cubic foot for each side, then supplies an evidence checklist covering records that may be needed to support or question a reweigh. It works without registration, shipment identifiers, or document uploads; the entered measurements are calculated locally in the browser.

The tool deliberately stops short of assigning an NMFC freight class or identifying a refund. Whether a revised charge is valid depends on the applicable measurement evidence, rate terms, classification requirements, and prior billing corrections.

RETALLY also provides a downloadable blank freight-audit evidence ledger and a printable 15-point freight-invoice review checklist. The ledger gives teams a structured way to record shipment and invoice references in their own systems, connect possible discrepancies to governing terms, document prior credits, and distinguish reviewer-approved findings from money actually received.
