New Color-and-Do Books Turn Dinner and Wiggle Time Into Shared Learning for Kids and Grown-Ups
Author Nerina Marlovell publishes two new color-and-do books on October 26, designed for children aged 4 to 8 and the adults who spend their days with them.
Each book follows the same simple pattern: a friendly character to color, a fun fact to learn, and an easy activity to do together.
Crunchy Crew Kitchen introduces 12 veggie friends and the vitamin each one brings to the body. Children color each friend, then help cook an easy recipe, with every step labeled as a kid job, a grown-up job, or do it together.
Hop, Stomp & Stretch features 12 animal friends and an easy move for each, shown in four picture steps. Kids color, learn, move, and complete a Grown-up & Me challenge.
"A coloring page gives an adult a few quiet minutes, and those minutes can still teach something healthy," says Marlovell. "Then the whole family gets to do something fun together."
Both titles are available on Amazon. A third book is in development.
