*SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 28, 2026, * U.S. technology company aims to turn everyday movement into a new coordination layer for connected neighborhoods

NeigborDrop is outlining a vision for local logistics built around capacity that already exists: people making trips, visiting stores and moving through their neighborhoods.

Its zero-fleet platform connects local needs with nearby people already heading in the right direction or available to help. The starting point is everyday activity, from a store pickup along an existing journey to an errand completed by someone nearby.

The question behind the model is simple: What if the supply already exists?

"Airbnb unlocked spare bedrooms. We believe NeigborDrop can unlock everyday movement," said Sunill Kumaar, Co-Founder and CEO of NeigborDrop. "We're starting with practical needs, but our longer-term ambition is to build infrastructure that helps entire neighborhoods coordinate."

One Trip. Two People. No Extra Driver.

NeigborDrop does not own vehicles or operate a dedicated delivery fleet. Its model is designed to connect requests with existing trips, available time and local skills, potentially reducing the need for separate journeys.

Available on iOS and Android in the United States and Canada, the platform supports store runs, shared trips and everyday errands. Local matching depends on nearby participation and availability.

From Everyday Movement to NeighborOS

NeigborDrop's broader vision is NeighborOS: an operating system for connected neighborhoods.

The company envisions residents, buildings, local businesses and services coordinating through a shared network. An individual pickup creates a connection. Repeated interactions can build familiarity and trust. Growing neighborhood participation can create more opportunities to match local needs with available capacity.

The ambition extends beyond individual transactions toward a network that becomes more useful as more people and organizations participate.

"The neighborhood already has people, places, skills and movement," Kumaar said. "Our vision is to connect them so that everyday activity becomes useful capacity for the community around it."

A Coordination Layer for the Future

Over time, NeigborDrop aims to explore how this coordination model could connect local demand with additional forms of capacity, including autonomous vehicles and other automated transportation systems.

These possibilities form part of the company's longer-term vision. Its current focus remains connecting people for everyday needs and building participation within neighborhoods.

"The future of local logistics may not depend solely on adding more vehicles," Kumaar said. "There is also an opportunity to make better use of the movement already happening around us."
