McDermott Will & Schulte strengthens London structured finance team with partner hire from Fried Frank

McDermott expands private capital capabilities with London finance hire

LONDON, NOVEMBER 02, 2026 - McDermott Will & Schulte announced that Cameron Mitcham has joined the firm as a partner in its Finance Practice Group in London. Cameron joins from Fried Frank and brings extensive experience in structured finance, securitisation and collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), adding further depth to the firm's structured credit capabilities in London and internationally.

Cameron advises sponsors, asset managers, credit funds, investment banks and other financial institutions on complex transactions across a broad range of asset classes. His practice encompasses CLOs, asset-backed finance, leverage structures, securitisation, private capital fund strategies and Solvency II. He also advises on the restructuring of complex financial transactions.

His arrival builds on McDermott's continued expansion across Europe, following recent strategic hires including Kalish Mullen in Paris, Oliver Sutter in Frankfurt, Vincenzo Giannantonio and his five-partner M&A and private equity team in Milan, and Lisa Goransson in London.
