MachineTranslation.com by Tomedes Now Lets Businesses Complete a Full Translation Project in One Session

Technology Tomedes

Tomedes launches a multi-file, multi-language upload feature for MachineTranslation.com, letting businesses finish full translation projects in a single session.

Requested by businesses for months, the feature is now live.

"I kept coming back four or five times just to finish a single project."

Businesses using MachineTranslation.com shared some version of that sentence again and again. They were not unhappy with translation quality, and they were not asking for more languages or more AI models. Their frustration was simpler: their projects always involved more than one file and more than one language, yet the workflow only handled one of each at a time.

Platform data backed this up. On average, businesses needed more than seven sessions to complete one translation project. Confidence in the output was never the issue. The workflow simply left them no alternative.

MachineTranslation.com acted on that feedback. From today, businesses can upload several files and choose several target languages within one session. Each file and each language is processed by up to 22 independent AI models, and the translation most of them agree on is delivered in the original file format, with the layout intact and ready to share.

What businesses wanted

The message from users was clear. They liked the platform and trusted its translations. They just wanted to stop repeating the same steps.

A marketing team localizing content for two markets should not need to run the same process four times. A legal team sharing agreements with international partners should not have to upload every document individually and return for each additional language. A brand entering a new region should not have to treat product listings, help guides, and supplier briefs as four separate sessions when they belong to one project.

"Businesses that use MachineTranslation.com are not really thinking about translation," said Ofer Tirosh, CEO of Tomedes. "They are thinking about reaching more people. When they told us the workflow was slowing them down, we paid attention. This is our response."

Why other platforms have not fixed this

Most translation platforms were designed around one assumption: one document, one language, one output. That approach worked when translation was a specialist job. It no longer matches how businesses work today, handling multilingual content across markets, formats, and deadlines all at once.

MachineTranslation.com was built on a different foundation. The platform that gets up to 22 AI models to agree on a translation before a business sees it now lets that business bring in a whole project at once. No repeat uploads, and no string of sessions for what was always one job.

"Much of the industry still expects businesses to adapt to the platform," said Rachelle Garcia, AI Lead at Tomedes. "We believe the platform should adapt to them. That has always set us apart."

Both features are open to all users, subject to the word limits of each plan.
