Law Week launches to cover the business of law rather than the law itself
A new UK legal title covering firms, deals, people moves, regulation and legal technology, aimed at the commercial side of the profession.

Domain Farm Ltd has launched Law Week, a UK title covering the business of law.
The site reports on law firms as businesses: mergers and deals, partner and team moves, financial results, regulatory developments, the courts as they affect practice, and the legal technology sector.
The distinction matters. Legal commentary in the UK is well supplied, and most of it explains what the law says. Law Week is concerned with the commercial operation of the profession: which firms are growing, who is moving where, what regulation is about to cost, and which technology is actually being adopted rather than announced.
The title is aimed at solicitors, barristers, in-house counsel, legal operations staff and the suppliers who sell into them.
Law Week publishes at lawweek.co.uk and is free to read.
