The revived monster universe brings "The Nightscream Man," "I Need A Volunteer" and "Lemonaides" to YouTube as part of its growing lineup of family-friendly Halloween storytelling.

RENO, Nev., October 11, 2026, Felipe Femur & Friends is bringing a new round of spooky storytelling to YouTube this Halloween with three new scary-story videos created for kids and families.

The new releases mix creepy ideas, mystery and monster-world humor while keeping the stories approachable for younger viewers who enjoy Halloween without needing the scares to become too intense.

The Nightscream Man

What happens when the ice cream truck doesn't come during the day? "The Nightscream Man" follows a mysterious ice cream man who makes his rounds after dark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9ll9cULpE4

I Need A Volunteer

Lemonaides

Tiny magical helpers may sound useful at first, but accepting their assistance can lead to unexpected consequences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNy_SIRTm1M

The three videos are part of a growing return to storytelling for Felipe Femur & Friends, a kid-friendly monster universe created by twin brothers David Vincent Dorn and Russell J. Dorn and originally developed online beginning in 2015.

Rather than relying only on familiar Halloween monsters, the new stories explore the kinds of strange ideas that can make children's scary stories memorable: an ice cream truck appearing at the wrong time, an unsettling classroom mystery and seemingly helpful magical creatures whose assistance quickly becomes something else entirely.

"We wanted these stories to have the feeling of the scary stories kids love telling each other, strange enough to make you wonder what happens next, creepy enough to feel like Halloween, but still something younger viewers can have fun with," said David Dorn, co-creator and visual artist of Felipe Femur & Friends.

The scary-story series arrives during a larger 2026 revival of Felipe Femur & Friends.

After years without a major update, the creators substantially rebuilt FelipeFemur.com as a central home for the project's characters, books, comics, games, stories, artwork, music, activities and family Halloween resources.

The Felipe Femur & Friends YouTube channel has also returned to regular activity with cartoons, Shorts, Halloween music, character videos, recipe content and new storytelling.

At the center of the project is Felipe Femur, a friendly skeleton living in the unusual monster town of Toonstone. His neighbors include characters such as Gummy the toothless werewolf, Sunny the sun-loving vampire and Runny the not-so-wicked witch.

The new scary stories add another dimension to the Felipe Femur universe, giving families a way to experience Halloween through short-form spooky storytelling alongside the project's established comics, books, games, music and activities.

All three scary stories are currently available to watch free on YouTube.
