BuildConnect UK launches controlled construction marketplace across web, iOS and Android

London, UK, BuildConnect UK has launched a UK construction marketplace designed to connect project owners, construction companies and built-environment professionals through clearer project information and client-controlled introductions.

The platform allows clients and project owners to prepare and post construction projects free of charge. Contractors can review public project information and request introductions where an opportunity fits their capability, while private client contact details remain controlled until the client chooses to progress an introduction.

BuildConnect UK also provides dedicated referral routes for architects, building surveyors, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and other built-environment professionals who need an additional way to bring prepared client projects to suitable construction companies.

The marketplace is intended to supplement existing procurement and due-diligence processes rather than replace them. BuildConnect does not endorse or guarantee contractors. Verification reflects factual checks completed at a point in time, and clients and professional teams remain responsible for project-specific due diligence and appointment decisions.

BuildConnect UK is now live on the web and available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The platform includes: • free project preparation and posting for clients; • public contractor and professional profiles; • controlled contractor introduction requests; • professional project-referral routes; • free project-planning and procurement tools; • mobile access on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Constantin Ovidiu Ilisii, founder of BuildConnect UK, said:

"Many construction projects still move from initial scope or professional design information into contractor engagement through fragmented email chains, informal recommendations and disconnected directories. BuildConnect UK is intended to make that early stage clearer while keeping the client in control of who receives private information and who they choose to speak with."

BuildConnect UK is operated by Oberon Engineering Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
