WILMINGTON, Del. - For most creators, affiliate income has lived in the least permanent places they publish. A discount code is read out in a video. A link is pinned under a post. A follower who wants the microphone or the moisturiser three weeks later cannot find the code, and the creator cannot remember which post it was under. The work behind the income is scattered too: a storefront on one retailer, tracking links from a brand, a list of codes in a notes app, and a profile page that shows a column of product names with nothing to tell one from the next.

That is changing. Creators are moving their recommendations onto the one page every profile already links to, and treating that page as their affiliate storefront. Each product sits there as a card with its picture, a line on why the creator uses it, the discount code in plain text and its own button to the offer. The page does not disappear with a post, so a recommendation made in March is still earning in October. And because each card has its own short link, a creator can send people from a video straight to the one product it mentions rather than to a whole page of them.

Keepp ( https://keepp.link ) is one of the link in bio platforms getting popular with creators for this. Its affiliate cards work with any programme a creator is already in. The retailer's own tracking attributes the sale, and Keepp adds nothing of its own in between. Every card has its own link and QR code, so a code read out on a podcast can be a short address that opens that product, and a card on a flyer can be scanned.

The same page is also the rest of the creator's business. It works as a website on the creator's own domain if they want one. It sells their own products and digital downloads, with every payment going to their own Stripe account. It takes bookings for calls and sessions, collects sign-ups and enquiries through a form, and answers followers' questions in a chat that replies from what the page says and hands over to the creator when a person is needed. Affiliate recommendations and the creator's own products sit side by side at one address.

"A code in a caption is gone the day the post stops being shown," said Vas, founder of Keepp. "On the page it keeps earning, and the follower who finally decides three weeks later can still find it. That is the whole difference: the page is permanent and the feed is not."

"We are seeing affiliate links become the first thing creators put on the page, before their own products," he said. "A new creator usually has things they recommend long before they have something of their own to sell, and a page of cards with codes is a storefront they can open on day one. The products and the bookings come later, on the same page."
