DMH Stallard confirms merger with GBH Law

Leading Southeast law firm DMH Stallard has today (14/10/26) announced its merger with Godalming-based legal practice GBH Law.

The merger will build on GBH Law's well-established presence in Surrey and strengthen the breadth and depth of the services the combined firm can provide to its clients.

Building on GBH Law's expertise in corporate, commercial, employment, commercial property, education and dispute resolution services, the move reinforces DMH Stallard's long-standing presence in Surrey. The merger will provide GBH Law clients with access to a wider range of legal expertise across both business and private client services, including family, private client and real estate support.

Kate Doody, Director at GBH Law, said:

"We are thrilled about this exciting new chapter for GBH Law, our team and our clients. Choosing the right firm with which to merge was key for us.

"We believe that, in DMH Stallard, we have found a firm with an exceptional reputation, which shares our culture and ethos of excellence in client service, and one which is aligned with GBH Law in its commitment to recruiting and developing the best people.

"Our clients will benefit from access to a much wider range of specialist legal services, with the levels of exceptional, personal and responsive service they have always relied on. The investment DMH Stallard has made in its people, technology and infrastructure will further enhance the service we can provide, while creating new opportunities for our colleagues as part of a larger organisation.

"We are looking forward to building an even stronger future together as part of DMH Stallard. and to combining the strengths of our teams to provide an unrivalled service to our clients, with the levels of exceptional service that they have always relied on. Our clients are highly valued and we are grateful for their continued trust. We very much look forward to continuing to work with them on this next part of our journey."

The merger marks a further milestone in DMH Stallard's continued growth and investment across the London and Southeast legal market.

Richard Pollins, Managing Partner at DMH Stallard, said:

"We are delighted to welcome GBH Law to DMH Stallard. As a full-service law firm, we know that GBH Law will bring real strength to our commercial teams.

"GBH Law is a highly respected firm in Surrey with an excellent team and a strong client base. The merger is a natural fit, with both firms sharing a commitment to providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service.

"Our two firms share the same values: giving clients clear, practical legal advice, building strong long-term relationships, and continuing to build a team in Surrey that excels for both clients and colleagues.

"We look forward to welcoming the GBH Law team and working together to establish ourselves as the go-to law firm for businesses and individuals in Surrey."
