Atkinsons Bullion & Coins opens new Edinburgh office as UK expansion begins

Atkinsons Bullion & Coins is opening a new appointment-only service office in Edinburgh as part of the company's wider UK expansion plans.

Founded in 1990 by Paul and Keeley Atkinson, the business has grown from a single-family jewellery store into one of the UK's largest online precious metals retailers, with turnover of more than £330 million in the 2025/26 financial year.

The new Edinburgh office will provide customers across Scotland and the North of England with access to a range of in-person services, including order collections, dropping off precious metals to sell, storage discussions and appointments with the Atkinsons team.

The office also forms part of a broader programme to establish satellite locations across the UK, giving clients greater access to Atkinsons' services in person.

We are planning to announce the opening publicly on Friday 2nd October. Founder Paul Atkinson is also available for interview during the first three weeks of October to discuss the Edinburgh opening, the company's wider expansion plans and the precious metals market.
