A Gold Coast boutique winery has the oldest Port Vats in Australia. They were made in France circa 1867 & imported by the Thumm Wine Company that itself has a 300 hundred year history in wine. The Vats currently hold 30,000 litres of Port that is aged then bottled & sold exclusively through its Cellar Door & restaurant outlet on the Thumm Estate.
Due to the Vats continuous use over the centuries the Port develops an unbelievable taste & aroma.
Wine enthusiasts take a run to Upper Coomera to try this once in a lifetime drop.
