Tesco has opened an in-store travel bureau at its branch in Twickenham. The store opening is the first of many planned for 2008 where customers will benefit from being able to pick up holiday money along with their weekly shop.

Following the successful launch of more than 25 in-store travel money bureaux last year, Tesco has announced it will continue to build upon this success throughout 2008 by introducing the service in even more stores across the UK.

Head of Tesco Travel Money, Darryl Turk, says: "Customers have told us they love this service, especially the fact that they can collect Clubcard points when they buy their holiday money through Tesco. Guaranteed convenience, great prices and the flexibility of this service have been key to the success so far. We're delighted to offer this service to more customers through more of our stores throughout 2008."
