Flying gets miles simpler with AIRMILES
AIRMILES, www.airmiles.co.uk, the UK’s leading travel rewards scheme, is introducing new all-inclusive fares that will offer its millions of UK members even better value. For the first time, taxes, fees and charges will all be included in Airmiles fares on flights with British Airways and many more scheduled airlines. From Tuesday 18 December 2007, with the new Airmiles fares, flights will be completely free when using Airmiles and customers won’t pay a penny on top. What’s more, AIRMILES has split the world into seven geographical zones with specific fares to all destinations within each one, making it much easier for people to know at a glance exactly how many Airmiles they need to collect for travel to destinations around the world. The new all inclusive fares and zones are being introduced following research amongst tens of thousands of AIRMILES customers who fed back that genuinely free flights and simple fares topped their wish list. Independent research conducted by YouGov reflects AIRMILES’ customer feedback, revealing many consumers find loyalty schemes confusing, with just a quarter (22%) believing they offer good value due to hidden costs and extra charges*. The new Airmiles fares represent strong value for customers. For example, a return flight to Prague** is currently 1,200 Airmiles with £61.90 extra for taxes, fees and charges. With the new all-inclusive fares, a return flight to Prague is 1,500 Airmiles with absolutely nothing to pay on top.
