Two hotels are helping families ride the financial rollercoaster after teaming up with a theme park to offer cut-price thrills and spills. The Legacy Chesterfield Hotel, in Malkin Street, and the Legacy Aston Court, in Derby, have joined forces with Gulliver’s Matlock Bath Theme Park to offer families special reduced rate accommodation with entry to the theme park included. Chris Barnes, marketing manager for Legacy Hotels, said the company was pleased to help families make the most of their money. “These are hard times for families with increased petrol, fuel and food costs and we wanted to do our bit to help. “These packages offer a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a fun-filled break without breaking the bank,” he said. Gulliver’s is a family theme park designed to cater for families with children between the ages of two and thirteen. All its rides and attractions are designed to offer the whole family a full day out of fun and excitement. Families can book a triple room for two adults and one child including entry to Gulliver’s Matlock Bath Theme Park for £80 per night. A family room for two adults and two children including tickets to the theme park is available for £95. The offers are available until October 30 this year and include bed and breakfast. The Legacy Chesterfield Hotel is based 500 metres from Chesterfield railway station and is also easily accessible from the M1. The Legacy Aston Court Hotel is based in Derby’s Midland Road and is situated opposite Derby railway station. The hotel is also easily accessible from East Midlands Airport and the M1.
