Discovery Initiatives announces new Hwange Lion Study Safari in Zimbabwe

This unique and exciting group trip offers travellers privileged access into the first and most extensive lion research study in Hwange National Park, home to a quarter of Zimbabwe’s lions. Visitors will join The WildCRU lion research team who monitor and track these lions in order to conserve these magnificent beasts. This dedicated mobile safari will provide visitors with an exceptional and knowledgeable wildlife experience in one of Africa’s most beautiful wilderness regions.

This participatory safari programme carries a maximum of 6 people, and is based out of a semi-luxury mobile camp in Hwange National Park, under the guidance of a professional safari guide and a member of the lion research project. Furthermore, it aims to contribute towards the ongoing study of the Hwange Lion Research Project.
