It appears that the cruising bug has caught on down under as more than 220,000 Australians took a cruise holiday last year.
 
This figure is, in-line with the rest of the world, set to increase as two ships from Princess Cruises, the Dawn Princess and Sun Princess are to be located in Australia with cruises departing out of Sydney.
 
Add to these the Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess, (both cruising around Australia and New Zealand),plus Celebrity ships Millennium and Mercury, then you can see why cruising figures are on the up.

Australians are big on travelling and will think nothing of taking over a months holiday to the UK and Europe which will often include a Mediterranean cruise.
