The President of InApp, Mr. Satish Babu, has been unanimously re-elected as the Hon. Secretary of the Computer Society of India (CSI) for the term 2007 – 2008.

The Computer Society of India, headquartered in Mumbai is the oldest and largest body of computer professionals in India. CSI is committed to advancement through the use of Information Technology in all domains of life. CSI has a member base of over 30,000 that includes top business leaders, computer professionals, academicians, researchers, students and users. The Society has 61 Chapters and 76 Student Branches across the country. Satish Babu is currently the President of InApp, and the former CEO of SIFFS (South Indian Federation for Fisherman Societies). He has been an IT consultant, designer, developer and trainer for nearly two decades. He is an active proponent of Open Source Technologies and is the Chair, IEEE Computer Society of the IEEE Kerala Section. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) and the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K). He is the Executive Secretary of the Society for Promotion of Alternative Computing and Employment (SPACE), and inter-disciplinary society with participation from the Government of Kerala.
