WiFiMobile announce new mobile VOIP price plans

Mobile VOIP provider WiFiMobile have today announced details of their  BASIC and PREMIUM packages where users can make VOIP calls either over Wi-Fi or through a 3G network on select Nokia S60 devices. Both services are available worldwide.

The BASIC service will allow end users to call other on-net contacts free of charge over WLAN or 3G. Users of this package will never be charged by WiFiMobile.

The PREMIUM package has a monthly cost of $14.99/€10.99/£7.99. This service will offer the benefits listed below:

• FREE unlimited calls to landlines in 40 overseas countries ( see the list on the WiFiMobile web site )

• FREE unlimited calls other mobiles in various countries including USA

• FREE calls to other on-net contacts and other SIP services

The PREMIUM package has no minimum contractual period and can be cancelled at any time. It should also be mentioned that customers will never be charged more than the set monthly subscription as non-free (chargeable) calls will automatically be routed through the normal GSM provider. For the end user’s benefit all calls will be voice prompted confirming whether the call will be routed over VOIP free of charge or chargeable through the GSM network operator.
