Internet Telecommunications PLC appoints Dr Fredrik Verkroost as its Chairman ahead of Nasdaq listing
Internet Telecommunications Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Fredrik Verkroost as Chairman of the Board with immediate effect and take on responsibilities for global expansion of this fast-growing telecommunications company.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Charlie Yiasemis, Founder and Chief Executive, said “we are thrilled to have attracted such an experienced telecom board executive with successful experience of IPO’s and mergers & acquisitions to help Internet Telecommunications Plc develop its worldwide expansion and re-financing through a Nasdaq listing. Our plans to capture a significant part of the UK and overseas markets for low-cost line rental and airtime provision will be further boosted by Dr Verkroost’s appointment”. Dr. Verkroost has been instrumental in positioning entrepreneurial Companies for growth, securing significant rounds of finance and 2 IPO’s. Among his larger assignments, he was deputy CEO of the mobile satellite operator ICO Global Communications and led the restructuring and merger of Swiss multinationals Landis & Gyr AG and Electrowatt AG with Siemens AG. “What attracted me to Internet Telecommunications Plc is that it is in a unique position to become a dominant force in fixed-line communications”, said Dr Verkroost. “Due to its ability to offer low cost line rental, service providers, businesses and subscribers are rapidly converging to our package solution of line rental + voice and data communications.
