In addition to this we are uniquely placed to be able to offer customers with our own annual extended headset warranty that commences once the standard manufacturer’s warranty has expired.’

The call centre industry strives for excellence and measures itself in terms of the delivery of quality of service levels, which boils down to investing in the right staff to do the job and arming them with the right headset and associated tools. By opting to get headsets repaired enables call centres to protect some of their investment.

The use of headsets is well documented and recommended by the Heath & Safety Executive to ease the risk of neck and back pain to telephone users. However, the headsets themselves are also subject to health and hygiene recommendations.

Each agent should be assigned their own headset as sharing of headsets is un-hygienic.
Ear cushions both foam and leatherette, voice tubes and windscreens are changed every 6 months, in order to minimise the risk of infections to headset users. Headsets should be cleaned and wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes.
