Corporate Direct (Europe) Launches Call Centre Headset Hygiene Starter Kits

Renowned North West based distributor of Telecommunications and associated products Corporate Direct (Europe), have launched a series of headset hygiene starter kits specifically aimed at the UK Plantronics install base.

The use of headsets is well documented and recommended by the Heath & Safety Executive to ease the risk of neck and back pain to telephone users. However, the headsets themselves are also subject to health and hygiene recommendations.

Each agent should be assigned their own headset as sharing of headsets is un-hygienic.

Ear cushions (both foam and leatherette), voice tubes and windscreens are changed every 6 months, in order to minimise the risk of infections to headset users. Headsets should be cleaned and wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes.

To assist the Plantronics user we can now offer dedicated headset hygiene starter kits which comprise of foam ear cushions, Supra Voice tubes or Tristar/Encore Voice tubes and telephony cleanse wipes in packs of 10. In addition we can also provide headset hygiene starter kits for other headset manufacturers.
