CHASEWATERFORD APPOINTED OFFICIAL AUDITORS TO THE GSM SECURITY ACCREDITATION SCHEME.

ChaseWaterford is delighted to announce its appointment by the GSM Association as one of the two official auditing companies to the Security Accreditation Scheme for smartcard suppliers. ChaseWaterford, whose directors were originally involved in the development of the scheme were selected following a competitive tender which took place in November 2006.

Commenting on their appointment, Max Kennett CFE, director, ChaseWaterford said; “We are delighted to have been selected as official auditors to the scheme. Since its inception, we have actively supported and continued to promote the benefits of the scheme to both GSM operators and suppliers. We very much look forward to working with the GSM Association and all parties in the continued development of the scheme over the coming years”.
James Moran, Fraud and Security Director at the GSMA Association, referring to the appointment of ChaseWaterford, said; “The inherent security of the smart card has been fundamental to the global success of the GSM family of technologies.
