BT today celebrated the arrival of its three millionth
Broadband customer. This is now concrete evidence that BT
Broadband is now the UK's most popular broadband and
Internet service provider.

The figures indicate that the widespread of fast internet
connections is developing at a rapid rate. The announcement
was made in the half yearly results, and this confirms that
BT Broadband are converting one in four all new broadband
and ADSL customers. This now gives BT broadband a 32
percentage of the UK market.

This positive development can be deduced from BT Broadband's
new product launch. Which includes three new broadband
packages starting from £9.95 and working it's way up to £22.99
per month, with download speeds of up to 8Mb.

They have found that more customer are choosing options2 and
options3. Both of these come with free internet voice and
video calls and a suite of security software all brought
together through the revolutionary wireless home hub.

BT Broadband have noticed and the statistics show that the
competition on the Broadband/ADSL market has been
intensifying. For the first time since the introduction of
Broadband/ADSL in 1998.

With the introduction of BT's new product line the market
has been a massive gold rush, as BT plan to make more
customers join them over the next year, thus making the
price cheaper.

With all the changes which have been going on at BT, it now
makes them the UK's number one Broadband provider, out
performing the likes of AOL, Tiscali, Orange and Pipex.
