TOPEX will exhibit this year too at the world’s leading event for the air traffic control and management industry, ATC Maastricht 2007. We invite you to meet TOPEX’s team between 13 - 15 February at ATC Maastricht, in Stand 656, where its enhanced IP-based Voice Solution for ATC Communications will be presented. Being permanently in line with the evolution of IP technology, TOPEX solution was among the world’s first fully IP implementation in ATC environment. TOPEX VCSS is a voice communication system intended for air traffic control applications and dispatcher - type communication centres. It is a full digital system with flexible and scalable architecture to allow its configuration for a very wide range of applications in the ATC/ATM field. Presently, the solution successfully integrates the IP Radio Gateway, that interfaces between Radio legacy infrastructure and IP networks (for air-ground communications) and the MFC Eurocontrol Signaling Converter, which assures transportation of this protocol over the Internet (for inter VCSS communications, ground-ground communications). TOPEX IP-based Voice Solution for ATC Communications is reliable, non-blocking and it has been commercially implemented, for over five years, within the Romanian Air traffic Control Organization.
