Managed service and SaaS provider e-know.net has announced the formation of a professional consulting division, with specialist teams for growth areas including legal.
Services are designed for both existing clients who have their systems hosted with e-know.net and for firms considering outsourcing part or all of their IT infrastructure. Consultants can act as de facto IT directors/managers or supplement in-house personnel and assist with developing IT strategy, drawing up a business case, project planning, training and resourcing. Nigel Redwood, e-know.net’s managing director, explains the thinking behind the move. “In one sense, this is merely a formalisation of the work we already do for clients as part of our on-going relationship. We do not just passively monitor the systems we host but partner with clients who are keen to push on and leverage IT for operational and business gain. Opportunities for improvement and expansion are many and varied: the consulting team’s role is to help clients select the optimum route forward with the technical team following up to deliver the actual solution. The real bonus is that quite often consultancy will carry no cost – returns come from any subsequent increases to subscriptions or per user per month usage fees.” For more information, please contact e-know.net on 01952 236 236 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
