The program comes almost six months after the launch of the website, which is already a huge hit among the global audience due to its varied functionalities. An offering of iCallGlobe Ltd., the website is already a hit among the global audience due to its varied funactionalities with social networking, IP telephony (both PC-to-PC as well as PC-to-Phone), video-photo sharing, online TV viewing and gaming being the highlights. Now, with the launch of this program, the website claims to be looking forward to encouraging the use of VoIP on a global scale. Sudhi B. Menon, Co-Founder and Business Development Head, YouTring.com, was available for comments at the time of this announcement. In his own words, “Our primary objective for launching YouTring was to cater to the B2C segment. With the launch of our global reseller program, we are basically providing everyone a chance to generate revenue by being associated with us, hence giving rise to better awareness for VoIP which, in my opinion, has the potential to become the preferred mode of communication in the next 3-5 years. Mr. Menon further went on to explain that in order to subscribe to the program, a potential reseller need not have any experience in the field, and can choose to purchase calling values starting from $5 and going up to $100.” The reseller program has a very unique commission structure that gives resellers an assured commission of 10% for every sale a user under them generates on the website after being associated with the same. Hence, once a user takes talktime from the reseller of YouTring, then even if he chooses to recharge his account directly via the site, the reseller would be given a flat commission of 10% of the sale value for lifetime.
