SEESMIC ACQUIRES TWHIRL Acquisition of #1 Twitter Client Will Make Video Conversations Even Easier SAN FRANCISCO: April 3, 2008: Today Seesmic (www.seesmic.com), the enabler of video conversations, announced that it has acquired Twhirl (www.twhirl.org), the number one Twitter client. Twhirl, which has been downloaded 100,00 times, has quickly become the most popular way to connect with Twitter, Pownce and Jaiku, representing more than 7% of all Tweets posted daily. With this acquisition, users of Seesmic, Twhirl and Twitter soon will be able to start video conversations straight from their desktops, without going to a browser.
