M5 President & CEO, Dan Hoffman, Shares his Entrepreneurial Experience by Supporting the Non-Profit Organization New York –M5 Networks, the market leader in delivering phone system functionality as a service, today announced that they will be one of the sponsors for the Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO) 42nd Anniversary Celebration on May 14th 2008. WIBO is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enable small business owners and budding entrepreneurs in under-served communities to obtain financial success in starting, operating, and building successful businesses that develop economic power, provide jobs and improve communities. Founded in 1966, this year's 42nd Anniversary Celebration will commemorate the accomplishments and contributions of NYC entrepreneurs and local business leaders. M5 president & CEO, Dan Hoffman, is a WIBO board member and an avid supporter of the organization. Hoffman was particularly impressed with WIBO’s focus on supporting entrepreneurial efforts through education, as he often shares his own experiences as an entrepreneur with those who are looking to follow in his footsteps. In addition to his involvement with WIBO, Hoffman has served as a panelist at the 2005 Wharton Entrepreneurship Conference ('Under 40 Success Stories') and has spoken to the Wharton Club of New York ('Start-up Entrepreneurship – Alive and Thriving in NYC'). “As WIBO celebrates 42 years of service to entrepreneurs, I feel fortunate to have Dan Hoffman of M5 as a WIBO board member,” said Amini Kajunju, Executive Director of WIBO. “Dan exemplifies the kind of entrepreneur that WIBO strives to develop.” "I believe deeply that business skills can be learned,” said Dan Hoffman, CEO of M5 Networks. “In fact, companies that learn fastest win. This principle has been core to my career and core to M5. It is popular to give money to entrepreneurs, but rare to give them knowledge. WIBO touches thousands of lives, improving businesses, supporting families, uplifting communities..." About WIBO About M5 Networks For more information contact: |
