Istanbul, Turkey January 2007 KT technology a pan European based kiosk terminal manufacturer were pleased to announce today its entry into retail transactional kiosk systems with its new flexible T5-D kiosk terminals. Istanbul, Turkey January 2007 KT technology a pan European based kiosk terminal manufacturer were pleased to announce today its entry into retail transactional kiosk systems with its new flexible T5-D kiosk terminals.The newly designed T5-D was developed on behalf of the increasing demand for kiosk transactional systems in retail settings, and the first T5-D kiosk terminals will be shipping shortly to locations throughout Northern Europe in retail consumer locations as part of a newly launched kiosk product concept which KT Technology developed on behalf of one of its Pan European customers. The Kiosk terminal T5-D consists of a curved aesthetically designed robust enclosure, which stands upright as a free standing terminal. The enclosure has been manufactured so as to incorporate a flexible approach to installation of a mixed match of components dependant on the application or store concept. The unit can be supplied with printer, barcode scanner, electronic EMV card slot, cash and coin payment devices, smart card readers, chip and pin pad, product dispenser, which are all items which KT customer line have requested in the past as part of there mixed match requirements. Ken Larsen General Manager at KT Technology had this to say about the new kiosk terminal T5-D. We are extremely pleased that the kiosk terminal has been developed due to an overwhelming demand from our customers for an affordable kiosk terminal which has a multitude of mix and match component possibilities. The self service retail kiosk market is extremely competitive and there is considerable competition from other manufactures, and KT Technology has been able not only to launch a new kiosk terminal design but also manufacture the terminal to extremely cost effective means thus making it a salient affordable self service kiosk terminal, but has been able to do so from demand by our partners and customers, and therefore expect to see our new kiosk terminal T5-D already being placed into several high profile retail locations by summer of 2007 as we already have orders well into the hundreds for this model. KT technology is a pan European kiosk terminal manufacturer, with offices in Istanbul and Copenhagen, the company is establishing itself into the self service retail market by means of developing exciting new solutions for the European retail markets in connection with several partnerships it has formed with venture capitalists and established entrepreneurs.
