With the popularity of the new sports of Dirtsurfing and Kitewing rapidly growing in popularity in the UK, Wingsurfer.co.uk, the centre of the UK rider community, has been busy expanding its website, adding more content and growing its member base.
Dirtsurfing is a downhill gravity sport from Australia that uses a 2 wheeled in-line board originally designed to be a "no-snow" alternative to snowboarding. Riders can reach speeds over 70mph, and still carve and turn with ease. Using a Kitewing, , speeds of over 40mph are easily achievable, as well getting air. As wingsurfer.co.uk is run by enthusiastic riders, the site which is full of valuable resources, and has now added an online store. That means riders can now buy direct from people who actually USE the gear, and who can offer personal advice, as well as provide support and help when its needed. The guys at Wingsurfer.co.uk (SWAT and Froggy) are regularly out riding, so it means that potential new riders can often arrange to meetup to have a go before spending any hard earned cash. As well as new gear, Wingsurfer.co.uk can provide the extensive range of accessories, spares and upgrades for both Dirtsurfers and Kitewings, and plan to increase the range of relevant gear in the near future. |
