The Warriors were founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1946 as the Philadelphia Warriors, a charter member of the Basketball Association of America. They were owned by Peter Tyrrell, who also owned the Philadelphia Rockets of the American Hockey League. Tyrell hired Eddie Gottlieb, a long-time basketball promoter in the Philadelphia area, as coach and general manager. He named the team after an early professional team in the city.

For a team that's come so far so fast, the, Golden State Warriors are leaving a lot of questions up in the air as the 2007-08 season winds down. The Warriors comes hot at the beginning of this season but would they keep competing toughly to win the championship of this season? Last week, Warriors Coach called out his players to make more efforts because there still hard games waiting for them.

In spite of, the Warriors have won some of their last games. The next games are going to be harsher and will need more wise tactics from the coach and players need more confidence. Even, the injury of some essential players of the team, there is no choice if they want to finish the season with a good record if not winning the championship. The pressure is increasing, and the team’s fans are worrying. So this may cause some problems on the team’s next games.
