Arun Bhardwaj creates record for Vodafone Pune International Marathon

Vodafone had organised the display of this sporting feat in Pune prior to the Vodafone Pune International Marathon in which Arun will take part. Arun Bhardwaj, India’s leading marathon runner set a treadmill record by running 151.5 km in 24 hrs. He also ran 164 km on a treadmill last month in Delhi. By running 151.5 km in Pune, Arun created a record of running twice for 24 hrs on a treadmill in the span of 1 month. This record will be registered in the ‘Limca Books of Records’.  He began this record run on November 25 at 12:00 noon and created the record on November 26 at 12:00 noon.  The maximum temperature recorded on Sunday November 25 was 29.2 degrees C while the minimum was 8.8 degree C.
