Arctic Hero gambles all on Ebay

Polar explorer Alex Hibbert 21, is putting the North Pole expedition, 'North 08', up for auction on Ebay.  Having thought of all the  traditional avenues for funding, he decided he would do something different.  

For a reserve price of £111,000, you or your company could have the expedition named after you, as well as exclusive advertising and publicity rights in all the media exposure assured with a venture of this magnitude.  You would also be featured in the hour long documentary that will be screened on terrestrial channel after the expedition, as well as owning unique polar images and footage. 

This polar expedition has many unique features.  Alex will be the youngest person in history to reach the North Pole upon his return.  He and the team are establishing a new route from Greenland, skiing 460 miles across the ice cap, totally un-supported, with double cancer survivor, Richard Smith also making the journey.
