Board Game Speed Dating™ is the newest craze in the U.K.
So you've probably heard of Speed Dating, well try that with Board Games!
Forget about idle chit chat, uncomfortable silences, silly questions. Get straight into it and play games. What better way to get to know somebody than to play board games with them. You don't need to think about what you are going to say to the person sitting opposite you when there's a board game to be played.
At a Board Game Speed Dating Night, for every new person you meet, you play a different board game as well.
HOW IT WORKS At a Board Game Speed Dating™ event guests have around 20 to 25 face-to-face short “dates” with single people, normally lasting 5-8 minutes. Guests move in opposite directions so every guest is at a new table. And with a new table comes a new game. And a new date! The Game in effect acts as an "ice breaker" and as it is a new game on each table both guests need to get it together to play the game!
The events are organised so that there are breaks for you to grab a drink at the bar and mingle further with the other guests and maybe even to swap game tactics!
