In December of 2004 Damian Cranny received a truly unwanted Christmas present - leukaemia. The news was devastating. Damian and his partner Steve, were planning a new life in France where they would be giving Life Coaching workshops. Damian had resigned his job so that he could put all his effort into selling his house and develop his and Steve’s new company, Renaissance Retreat. News of his illness broke just after the contract had been signed for the property in France. This was compounded by the sale of his own house which fell through seven times before finally being sold. Damian’s treatment was long and painful, involving three months of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant. But this was not all. Whilst in a isolation ward, because his immune system was so weak, he was rushed to an operation theatre to have his appendix removed. Recovering from such a low point in his life was the biggest challenge he had ever faced. Nevertheless, with Steve’s support, he put into practice the knowledge he had acquired as a Life Coach. For some time he had been advising clients on how to cope with adversity, how to manage behaviours and reactions, and coping with the stress of modern day living. He now found himself in a situation where he would have to walk the talk and prove beyond a doubt that life coaching really works. For two years Damian applied the positive principles associated with his life coaching to himself with truly amazing results. This, together with two years of treatment at Southampton Hospital, he has survived a life-threatening illness, and is well again and about to open the Renaissance Retreat in France. Damian and Steve are extremely positive about what the future holds for them. They know that they will be able to pass on unique advice to clients attending their life coaching workshops in France and help them live the life that they want. The 4 day retreat can help anyone to discover the secrets of how to unlock their full potential and turn their dreams into reality. end |
