This claim is not being made by your Banks or Credit Card Companies! An ambitious challenge to reduce customer debt by £1Million pounds has been launched by Heather Allen, successful businesswoman, Leadership Consultant, ex-debtor and now author of the “Debt Free Play Book”. Concerned with the rise in debt all around her and the impact it's having on people’s lives, she wants to do something about it; and has taken a different approach to dealing with debt. As well as helping eliminate debt; her strategy also helps people come to terms with their spending habits. By using methods devised and used by Allen, not only do people get the practical help they need, but the much-needed emotional support as well. One user of the DebtFree system has reduced the time it will take to repay his debt from 11 years, down to 3. A free launch seminar is taking place on Saturday 24 February 2006 at Caxton House, 129 St John’s Way, Archway, London N19 3RQ. It starts at 1pm and places are limited.
According to national statistics, debt is at an all time high in Britain. It is also responsible for astonishing figures of depression, illness, relationship breakdowns and suicide. These facts are borne out by agencies such as The Samaritans and The Citizens Advice Bureau. For many people in debt, it is the feelings of isolation, guilt, shame and even failure that so often get in the way of taking effective action. www.Debtfreeplaybook.com is a site that is forward thinking and has proven results, confirmed by the many testimonials already logged on the site. The programme is aimed at improving financial skills and includes ways to stop spending; dealing with creditors; changing spending habits; and planning for a more affluent future. What is unique about this site is its continuous support structure that is on offer. People get easy to follow literature, weekly conference calls, and spreadsheets that calculate their debts. There is also an online forum where people can get together, and share money-saving and money-making ideas.
Heather Allen reports, “Having contact with people who are making a positive change to their debt is uplifting and encouraging. You start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are stories on the site of people who were in very difficult financial circumstances, who are now able to see their way to a better future”. “We have a simple, tried-and-tested product, with a strong team to support people. By logging on to www.debtfreeplaybook.com you'll be taking the first step on the road to financial freedom. And you'll also be part of something so much bigger - you'll be an integral part of helping us reduce the nation’s debt by £1 million in 2007.” “I have witnessed first-hand the devastating effects of debt and I'm passionate about helping people regain control of their debt issues and their lives. Often people feel as if there is nothing they can do and no one they can turn to. I want www.debtfreeplaybook.com to be “that place” where people can get the support and the encouragement they need. The £1Million Challenge is just the start.” The Wow Factor is a consultancy company based in Oxfordshire, specialising in leadership and cultural change in organisations. Their strap line is, "Inspiring a Grander Vision for Humanity."The DebtFree Challenge is part of this vision, because they believe that being debt-free is the first step to living the life of your dreams. You are invited to join them on their quest to eliminate £1Million of debt in 2007.# # #If you would like more information about this topic, or to schedule an interview with Heather Allen, please call Zandria at 01993 810960 or e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
