Parable-based evidence is used to prove the case for following Jesus Over the last 18 months, a book has been written to prove the case for following Jesus. It is available at provingchrist.com. The book uses parable-based evidence; these are observations that are too perfect to be coincidence. The evidence is as follows:
Linguistic parables – two times better than random Pictorial parables – 1.5 times better than random Parables from Hebrew words – many times better than random Parables from Greek words – slightly better than random Name counting in the Bible (e.g. 666th name) – perfect
The book also includes many general parables, and uses them to predict future events. For example, a tsunami is predicted to hit the East Coast of America on 25th December 2007. The book proves that other theologies including that of St. Paul are false and encourages the reader to follow Jesus. |
