Bangors Galore At Hundred Houses Society Summer Barbeque
Written by Outplay Media

Cambridge-based housing association Hundred Houses Society held its annual Summer barbeque to the great enjoyment of all involved.

Residents of the Scotland Farm estate in Chesterton joined staff, tenant's association members and board members for a fabulous BBQ at the Hundred Houses Society's offices on 29th August. The event was organised as a focused series of community events that are regularly arranged for the Society’s tenants and leaseholders.

Fun events included a painting competition and a variety of games, which proved to be very popular. More serious features included a display of assistive technology supplied by the local PCT, which attracted a lot of interest from a variety of residents, free private advice from Citizen’s Advice Bureau and the canvassing of tenant's views on how the community of Scotland Farm can be developed as part of the Society’s overall strategy on involvement and participation.

Bangers and burgers were in hot demand from the Barn House Country Kitchen, whilst young and not so young mingled and chatted away and enjoyed a rare dry and warm summers evening.
