Snow Patrol, Muse, Keane to rock Isle of Wight Festival |

The first artists to be confirmed for this year's Isle Of Wight Music Festival have been announced ahead of tickets going on sale Thursday 22nd February.
Tickets for this year's Isle Of Wight Music Festival will be on sale this Thursday, February 22nd at 9am. Acts confirmed so far are Snow Patrol, The Feeling, Muse, Kasabian, Ash, Wolfmother, Amy Winehouse, Arno Carstens, Keane, The Fratellis, Paolo Nutini & James Morrison. More acts will be announced over the coming weeks and months. The event takes place on the weekend of Friday June 8th to Sunday June 10th at Seaclose park in Newport, Isle Of Wight. Headlining Firday's opener will be Snow Patrol, with The Feeling also confirmed for this day. Muse will be top of the bill on Saturday, along with Amy Winehouse, Arno Carstens, Ash and Kasabian. Muse are proud to be headliners at the show: "The past year has been truly amazing for us and performing live is what we�re all about", they said. "Getting the opportunity to do that at the Isle of Wight Festival is an honour. Some of our biggest heroes played the festival back in the 70�s. It�s steeped in history and we cant wait to be a part of that." Sunday will see Keane, The Fratellis, James Morrison and Paolo Nutini take to the stage.
