SONG TO HELP YOUNG CANCER VICTIMS RELEASED
Written by Conway Wigg

London, 16 November 2007. A new song, ‘Thanks for Loving Me”, has been released by the 2Simple Trust. Money raised through the sale of the song will be used to treat young children suffering from neuroblastoma, a rare cancer.

The song, by Phil Ryan who performed with The Animals at their famous Moscow concert, was written specifically to support the care of five-year old Jack Brown. The funds raised, however, will go to help all the children being supported by the 2Simple Trust.

“Thanks for Loving Me” can be downloaded for just £1.95 by visiting http://www.2simpletrust.org and following the links to the Jack Brown Appeal. The song is also available on CD and can be ordered through the same website.

Neuroblastoma is a solid tumour cancer, which spreads rapidly. Recurrence after treatment is currently considered non-curative except at the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. The centre has developed a range of options including liquid radiation, which have proved effective.

The children being helped by 2Simple Trust are all undergoing treatment in New York at a cost of $750,000 per child. There is no UK Government funding available for this treatment.

The 2Simple Trust supports disadvantaged children both in education and in relief of sickness. The London based organisation can be contacted on +44 (0) 208 203 0104 or by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
