Nashville Songwriter and Mississippi native David Jennings releases first solo album, "Sticks and Stones"

Nashville songwriter David Jennings (http://www.myspace.com/davejennings )  released his first album, "Sticks and Stones" for online distribution. Jennings, a multi-instrumentalist, producer and acclaimed songwriter reveals an album that shows his diversity and skillful song crafting ability. Every bit of "Sticks and Stones" tells a different story of the young songwriter's life, each song molded together with memorable melodies and strong vocal harmonies. "I just want people to know that I am trying to do something incredibly different and highly unusual." Jennings' work is quite unusual, considering every instrumental performance (guitar, piano, bass guitar, drums) and vocal is his own. "I love to write and perform, but producing songs is something I am growing more and more comfortable with. It's easy to write a song, but to take it all the way to a finished product takes time, patience and a real understanding of what kind of production is needed. The song is what's important... but it's far more fun for me to put the pieces together after the song is written."
Jennings recently moved to Nashville, but has already written and performed with some of Nashville's brightest up-and-coming stars. Jennings co-wrote "Electrocution and Laughter" with Warner Brothers recording artist Jeremy Lister and hopes to continue writing with other artists around Nashville.

"Sticks and Stones" is available on iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody Music
