New Upscale Online Retailer Offers Free Gourmet Coffee Gift Baskets Worth $50

When you first arrive at Internet2yourdoor.com website, you notice it's simplicity

and easy navigation system. The new online retail outlet offers everything from MP3

players to Cartier fragrances to cell phones.

E-commerce entrepreneur Rick London is not new retail (or wholesale) Internet

selling. He also founded Londons Times Cartoons in 1997 and consequently Londons

Times Superstore, Rick Londonwear, and Londons Times Ecards.

London says, “I really was not thinking about a non-cartoon ecommerce site all

that much, but a good friend who is an investor on the west coast approached me who

deals in more traditional items (than my cartoon merchandise) and wanted to open

an e-store with quality merchandise and excellent service. He is a pharmacist with a

major drug chain which is very well-known for their quality service. Then I realized

how often I'm ordering things online, especially consumer electronics, gifts, fragrances,

cell phones and the like, so I don't have to go across town or stand in line etc. And I

tend to prefer name brands (which is what we carry).”

London says, “So Internet2yourdoor.com was launched a few months after launching

the world's first line of cartoon gourmet coffees “Ruth London's Exquisite Coffees”

named after my maternal grandmother. I talked to Mike, my partner to see if we might

figure a fun cross-promotion, and the coffee (whole beans) are farm fresh and taste so

good I thought it would be a great idea to give away a free basket with each order of $500

or above.”

The gift baskets have a retail value of $50 and include five blends and flavors of

gourmet coffee, an oversized Londons Times Cartoon coffee mug, and four matching

cartoon coasters.

London adds, “Since one of the lines in which we specialize is coffee and cappuccino

makers, grinders, etc., I felt a lot of people would be interested in the coffee gift baskets

as well, as the combination of a coffee maker, grinder and basket would make an ideal

gift idea.”
