Miniveyor, the world’s favourite portable conveyor system, will be exhibited for the first time at Electra Mining 2008 in Johannesburg this September.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, STONEHOUSE UK AUGUST 7TH 2008 Miniveyor Africa, Rako’s JV partner in South Africa, has received a massive boost in its activities to establish itself on the African continent in the form of 4 substantial orders from the mining sector following its launch in October 2007. Two of the orders are from platinum mining giant Anglo Platinum (Angloplat) and two from copper mines in Mauritania. In the case of Angloplat, Miniveyor is being used to clear spillages and in the clean-up of mud rushes. At Bleksop mine Miniveyor is being deployed to clear rocks that have fallen from the permanent conveyor belts on their way to the surface The Miniveyor portable conveyors are built for arduous conditions, capable of shifting up to 20 tons per hour and with the 3m long models weighing only 73kgs they can be rapidly deployed and be in operation in minutes. Because of this many mine operations are looking at Miniveyor to assist proto teams with ‘fall of ground’ incidents. Miniveyor will receive further exposure to the Continents mining sector this September at the Electra Mining show in Johannesburg. This will be the first time Miniveyor has been exhibited at the show and is certain to create a lot of interest from both mining and construction visitors.
