The website is owned and administered by Roger Kerr who says, “I’m glad that I am able to give Jamaicans a means to empower themselves with information while at the same time provide them with entertainment and business opportunities.”

The website features Jamaican news, sports and entertainment but also has a wide range of articles on various subjects including technology, health, fashion, business and self-improvement.  Users of the website are invited to register and submit their own news and articles which will be published once approved. 

Registered users are also able to offer items for sale in the classifieds, list their businesses or websites in the business directory and advertise employment opportunities in the jobs section, all free of cost.

The website was founded in February 2008 and plans are afoot to expand the site into a full-fledged social networking portal.
